Thanks very much to everyone who’s supported us over the last three years and helped make the monthly gatherings such unique experiences.
A particularly big thank-you to anyone who stood up to tell a story.
We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Sad to hear this. I greatly enjoyed 2 or 3 evenings of TSTL. It’s non professional make up made it unique, often hilarious and touching. I’m presuming that also made TSTL fairly time consuming – and impossible as a cost covering enterprise, let alone an earner of any description. So, for now, thanks so much to you, Kerry, Kate and all others who made these inspiring and, yes, even life affirming evenings happen.
Very sad indeed! I attended only one event while living briefly in London. It was one of the most fun things I did in the city! Thanks to all who made it happen.
I consider myself a True Stories veteran having had the good fortune to attend many wonderful evenings of storytelling. I do hope TSTL eventually returns in some form or other. In the meantime can I say a huge thank you to Kate, Kerry, Meg, David and storytellers. What with the demise of the mighty Word magazine and now this I’m going to have to get myself a whole new cultural life.
Thanks so much to David, Kerry, Kate & Meg. I attended several TSTL evenings and took a “turn” in June 2010, which I enjoyed immensely. Kerry put in a considerable ammount of his own free time to prep me, which made a massive difference to the final outcome. The London cultural scene is very much dimmed by its passing and I hope some brave (and very hard working) souls might pick up the torch in the future.
Thank you for running TSTL. I did a turn towards the end of last year. It was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done, I’ll always remember it.
I’m gutted! Was fortunate to have attended several, and it was always a moving, fun and unique experience. Big thanks to all involved: storytellers, organisers and audiences. Hope to see it return one day…

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a
very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me
to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?
Superb work!
I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems? A few of my blog audience have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?
I truly love your blog.. Pleasant colors & theme. Did you create
this web site yourself? Please reply back as
I’m trying to create my very own blog and would love to find out where you got this from or what the theme is called. Appreciate it!
True Stories Told Live is a simple idea. A bunch of people having a drink in a small room, listening to other people telling true stories. It's not comedy, though it's allowed to be funny. It's not educational, but you might learn something. It's not musical, but we like to include the odd story-telling musician. Because we ask people not to use notes, we'd expect those stories to be about themselves. You might even want to have a go at it yourself. Think you can? Get in touch here if you want to know more. If you're curious, this is who we are.
